Programme Overview
The aim of the LQA Level 7 Diploma in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics is to offer learners an advanced knowledge of the industry by deepening their awareness of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.
The core objective of the LQA Level 7 Diploma in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics qualification is to equip learners with the underpinning knowledge, understanding and skills required for a career in the cyber security sector.
Eligibility Criteria
- Should be 21 years and above (AND)
- Minimum 3 years managerial/ team lead work experience (AND)
- Completed an academic or professional undergraduate qualification or equivalent (AND)
- Proof of English Language
Qualification Equivalence
The LQA level 7 diplomas are located on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and are recognised as being at the same level as Master’s degrees. However, they are shorter (120 credits) qualifications which means learners will have to proceed to the dissertation stage (60 credits) with an appropriate university to achieve a full Master’s qualification.
Programme Structure
The LQA Level 7 Diploma in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics consists of 6 mandatory units for a combined total of 120 credits, 1200 hours Total Qualification Time (TQT) and 480 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) for the completed qualification.

Duration and Delivery
